ReAttaching Locs | THE SHAMPOOING PROCESS *Step 1

So i cut my locs to join the military but i left them with my grandmother. Im out now and prepping them to reattach. Theres no mold or rot just a build up from lint, product, and dandruff. Even after shampooing them. Should i do a acv detox to try to get more build up out before reattach or do you recommend another method?

I say do them just like the Video. Just shampoo them. No need for a detox if they aernt dirty. If you are going to a Stylist to retaach them ask the stylist what you should do and what she prefer. Question. My friend just reattached his locs, some have come out. It is time to wash his hair. Should I reattach the locs that fell out and then wash his whole head, or should I wash his hair first, dry it and then reattach the locs? I heard you should only reattach locs to dry hair.

I had my locs reattached, within a month I washed my hair and some of the locs fell off, they were reattached and I was told not to wash until after 3 months, so I've been dry washing, is this how it should be done?

Can you reattach after you been through chemotherapy. Is it safe to reattach? It's been 7 years since my diagnosed of breast cancer and I'm done with chemo and radiation for 6 years; however I kept my locs thinking I can have them reattach? At the time my loctian was not comfortable with reattachment because of the chemo. I have already started my new set of locs should I not bother with reattachment of my old ones?

How long did you leave the locs in the water

Not long. I just Shampooed them. If they have build up Shampoo them really good with Dawn Dishwashing Soap.
