I bought a used Patagonia rain jacket with the inside peeling. The constant flaking bothered me so I just removed all of the inside laminate that came off. No more flaking but that laminate waterproofing is no more too, so sad. But the exterior still looks good. So I just sprayed it with DWR spray but will use it as light windbreaker jacket instead.

Hi, you should have shown us you spraying on the rainproofing product (technique is important), letting it dry then testing the product of your efforts by pouring water over it. You missed a golden opportunity to do this, so I'm sad to say, I'm not very impressed, or convinced.

Hi, Some jackets have a visor or brill, and it can be damaged by the washing machine... how should I care or repair the visor?

Hey Juan! We would recommend washing it by hand in a bathtub or other large bin so you can be extra careful with the visor. As for repairing the visor itself, that would be a bigger DIY project and it might be easier to contact the manufacturer to see what they recommend. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.

You did not explain how to re-waterproof, did not demonstrate how to re-waterproof, did not mention any DWR product by name (not even the one that you already had in front of you). Remove re-waterproof from the title so that people don't waste their time on this video.
