I’m getting older and find it more difficult to remember new information. Just getting into machining as a hobby. I’ve watched other videos about micrometers in the past, but needed a “refresher” since I’ve mainly used digital calipers to this point, but now wanting closer tolerances. He did a great job of explaining how to read the micrometer. He made one mistake that I can tell. @ 0:45 he says "Point THREE seven five," and then says "Read it as seven hundred thirty five." I love youtube. You can learn so much from it.

This is an excellent - clear - step by step instructions. I'm 50 years old trying to secure employment in quality control. I need to learn, understand and apply this type of skill set.
