I started watching youtube video's to get an idea of what to expect when trying to learn the guitar, it was so confusing and did my head in for over three weeks. No one explains things the way Steve Stine does. Oh if only I had found this back then it would have made things a lot easier. It's nice to be able to play something even if it is a simple thing like twinkle twinkle little star or the James Bond theme on one string etc. LOL All made easy when you know how to read tabs. So glad I found Steve because I still have problems understanding maj, min, etc. There is so much more to guitar, and so much to learn. Thank you Steve :)

Hi Steve. Allow me to tell you that your teaching is brilliant. The only person who can explain and demonstrate in such a way that it’s easy to follow. I was always getting confused in regard to the layout of the guitar strings and the how they are written. On the guitar the ‘B’ is the 2nd string from the bottom, whilst on the sheet it’s the 2nd from the top. I was twisting my brain trying to understand this until you showed how it’s seen from the point of looking over from where you are playing as if it was flat on your lap, or as you showed by lifting it up. As a beginner, this has saved me a lot of frustration. Thanx again from your ‘student’ in SA.

Great way of explaining why the tabs appear upside down on the guitar when reading tabs. This has played with my head for the longest time now my mind has been freed! Thank you sir! You are one of the greatest instructors on KZbin. Thank you🙏. 🖖 Max Power
