Hi Jayla I wanted to let you know that my team and I used your video last night at our youth group in a breakout room on How to get started reading your Bible. We had 25 teenagers who seemed to really engaged in watching. Having someone their own age who is knowledgeable about this I am sure was very helpful . I wanted to thank you personally for your video and I believe you might have a few more looking at your videos . We had two young ladies afterwards ask for a Bible so this is exciting! Thank you for the tips ❤. I was sad, that you did not recommend the KJV. I have grown up reading the KJV as I believe that it is the most accurate version and the language adds a richness as we focus on God. Even though the older English can be hard the more you read it the more you will learn about the words and the meanings,So I would like to recommend that you would try KJV.😊

I made this video specifically for Christian teens that haven’t read the Bible before (mainly to recommend to friends who are looking to get into the Bible) and the thought of reading such old English is very daunting to them and often the reason they don’t read the Bible in the first place. I do like to read in King James every now and then. And I’m super glad you’ve found a translation you love 💖💖💖
