Never too early to start reading! Ive read to my son since he was a newborn too. He is 2 now and absolutely obsessed. Some days we read 20 books 😂 thats a great idea to start asking more questions. I will start doing that!

Thank you for sharing and really helpful❤️ I just wondering how can I stop my 6 months old baby ripping books? She is so excited when she sees picture books. At the time, she grabs and tears although I give her something to hold when I read.

Hi Maria, That’s fantastic she is so excited for books. 😍😍 We use board books not paper pages because of that.

Is it important to read children’s books to toddlers? I figure the purpose of reading to babies is laying the ground work for language processing, so that later on their phonological awareness is higher. I figure it’s not so much about the infant’s comprehension but hearing the various rhythms and tones of spoken language. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks 🙏

With my 15 month old son, I read a book before a nap or sleep and I will even just sit and read aloud when he’s playing near by and he will more often then not come over. Hope that helps! Stay safe! x
