One can look at the health of the discs, uncovertebral joints, facets, nerve root foramen, alignment, spinal canal diameter, and even the occiput-C2 joint complex.
This test is the only real way to determine how gravity affects the spine (MRIs and CT scans are performed lying down and the stand-up MRIs are of poor quality). Flexion and extension views add to the knowledge of motion of the spine and oblique films can identify bone spurs in the foramen. Yes, I still feel this way. I accepted it as a part of my life. I tried telling several doctors about the noise of liquid in my neck but they just look at me funny. I don't want to get an Myelogram done because I'm afraid it will get worse. I just got out of hospital for my 3 blood clot last month. Life has not been easy for me, I don't know why I'm being punished. Please keep in touch and let me know what your going through and how your doing.

Myself I have the feeling of being very unbalanced.And I was shown there is a trapping of my nervouse system.and there are times I get migraines.I have been seeing a chirpractor and it's brutal at times.So i'm up for an MRI in two weeks.

well I have calcifications on the back of my neck side of my neck as int transverse processes and front of my neck as in the hyoid bone and thyroid and cricoid cartilages but to a lesser extent. What can I do? No doctors want to diagnose me.

It is unfortunate that the lateral cervical spine is always done in the old-fashioned incorrect way. There is no benefit in irradiating the thyroid. When the projection was first developed, there was no light beam diaphragm to limit the beam.

I've been getting a new feeling of body feels like it's been dipped in bengay, not sure how to explain it. I feel my body is heating up or cooling down just below the skin, like the feeling of bengay being rubbed on your body. Sometimes, I get a small amount of fluid coming out of my ears from time to time. I'm very unbalance sometimes to the point I can't stand up. I hate this feeling, I wish my doctors would listen or I wish they were more educated in my condition.

My spine nr,1,2,3,and 4 have got curved toward my jaw, so I can't look straight up,it does hurt when I look up, I done a wrong yoga exercise and I got the curve right when I failed the exercise,and I had pain the first 2 weaks do you think I can turn th men back at the place? Was it a cervical injury with possibly a CSF leak.Like I said I am going through the same symptoms.I do scaffold building and carpentry for a living.Can't work and just daily living is a mess .No comfort at all,sort of like being slowly tortured.Please please let me know what the injury was.Thank you and the best of luck!/ C.J.

I also have similar symptoms, James. Not really pain in my limbs but, back of my neck hurts at times, pains going down my neck (more like electrical pinching), sometimes light headed and copper taste in my mouth. I feel like I'm gonna pass out but, it's like this strong sensation within the neck, brain and chest all at once. I was rear-ended pretty hard in an auto collision in Feb. 2009 and sometimes I feel like my neck is too weak. CT's & MRI's normal. You find any help yet?

​​@@TarikRom-hu3jjWell, I don't remember posting this, but it's been quite a journey. I recieved an adjustment, in my neck, by a chiropractor named Dr. Tubio - about 3 weeks ago. At first I was disappointed, but a little while later, as I drove home, I felt the improvement. He is on youtube & instagram and located in Costa Mesa, California. I'm not back to normal. Not sure if I'll ever be, but I do not regret going. To me the relief has been well worth it. I recommend seeing an Osteopath as well.
