Watched this last night, played 9 holes this morning, actually drove the ball beautifully, especially considering it was cold with a keen wind, hit every fairway, just concentrated on the woosh after impact

Great lesson. The feel that is needed is a tension free swing. I find that grip is the real determinant. A proper grip that’s neutral and a grip that is loose yet still structured. Thanks again. The swing is starting to feel good!!!!!!👍🏾

Nice! I have been working on this before I saw your video. THIS is the key to unlocking speed and a full release in your golf swing. Whipping that club through the hitting area is the way to go. It doesn't happen on the first swing but when you finally start connecting the feeling is amazing and likely like nothing you have ever felt. Remember that 5 iron you couldn't hit? If you focus on the tenants of this video you'll be ripping it. Cheers mate. Well done.

Very good video Alex. I struggle with consistently hitting up with the driver. I will be working on getting this feeling in the coming weeks. Thanks.

Well explained Alex. Need to have a go at this on the range. Makes perfect sense and hopefully cures my slicing tendencies 👍🏼

This works! I can absolutely vouch for that after my lesson with Alex yesterday! I hit some shots with a shape, penetration and airtime which I haven’t hit for many a year!

Can't wait to try this.my left arm definitely doesn't stay on my body long enough, and I've been trying to feel club going more left after impact ,but I think I'm not closing the face

Good morning Alex, another great tip. However, about 15 years ago, in Shanghai of all places, I was at 4 story range with an English ex-pat and I was trying to show him this very same method. As he was having trouble with a massive slice. At that time my handicap was 10, his was 28. The only problem was my fault as whilst showing this I tore a ligament in my left shoulder. At the time I knew I’d done some damage however I was only 2 weeks into a 4 week business trip and didn’t get it checked and repaired until I returned back to Melbourne. Maybe the few pints we were having wasn’t a good idea at the time. 😂👍😎🇦🇺
