That take me back to nearly forty years ago when I used to do exactly the same maintenance to my 980! Wowsers. Be warned, it is made of butter, despite being campy. My spring sheared where it goes into the jockey cage while I was forty miles from home. The only way I could get home was by shortening the chain and riding a single gear, but I didn't have a chain tool. I resorted to knocking on a strangers door, asking for a hammer and a nail to compliment the small nut I found at the roadside. These tools fixed my chain and I managed to ride home! I think I was only fifteen. How time have changed!
