Hello Brother Bob, Iam Vijay from India, I was blessed to know how you build car shocks, I have a Toyota Etios petrol built in India 2012 model, my shocks are too bad for the last 2years .I want to replace the oil from 32 grade to 46 grade to withstand Indian road conditions and climatic conditions will the ride not be smooth will the spring action disappear and throw me and the one next to me on a bumpy ride.please advise . Hi! Reason why a shock absorber with reservoir is soft after it is hot, is the oil of poor quality or is there another reason? Thanks.

Usually it is oil quality, but if the shock is an Extreme tie down shock it will get hotter faster.
