How to Rebuild Motorcycle Rear Caliper - 1992 Yamaha XJ600

In this video I will be covering how to rebuild a motorcycle rear caliper on a 1992 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II. The pistons in this caliper were incredibly seized to that point that even 100psi of compressed air could not move them. Fortunately, I was able to recondition the piston bores and install the old pistons with some new seals to have it all moving smoothly again.
Feels luxurious to have a hydraulic rear brake on such an old bike.

How was the battle with the bleed nipples? This design rear caliper is the whole reason they invented banjo bolts with integrated bleed nipples 😅
