So fortunate to find Music Repo- these are master classes for the beginner and to celebrate why women are the best tech teachers- they understand how to communicate authentically without being pretentious that so many audiophile snobs make the beginner feel deft. This will inspire so many that they can follow their passion- easy peasy! 🙏🏻🌷

Hi Jane and Lynz, thanks so much for this video. I'm wanting to do more live on my channel and have been watching a few videos to see how different people set things up. Yours has been my favourite for a few reasons... 1) easy to follow guide without presuming everyone knows what something like an interface is - yay! 2) Happily, the scenario fits me perfectly. I sing, play acoustic and loop sometimes, as well as using a Mac. Yay!! 3) It's SO GOOD to see other women doing this and talking about it, and please don't take offense to this, but other women who've lived for a few years, like me! Yay!!! So many thanks to you both. I'll have to do some diving into both of your channels to gather some more gems. Kia ora from New Zealand. 🎤🎶

I loved this. Good stuff. I love to do raw just one off things. But. I still am trying to get my logic into a live streaming way. Much love loves

Oh, just a quick hello there to say how much grateful I feel to have found your channel! So rare to get some real teaching tutos who "take care" of our needs not just blurbing... straight to the accurate point AND pointing out the misbeliefs and mistakes. Pure gold, really. This vid with Lynz is so great! (and finally a channel ruled by a woman!! 🤩💪🙏)

Hi, glad you liked it, we must have got something right as you are the guru when it comes to live streaming. I haven't forgotten a potential collaboration on Looping ... I seem to have been mega busy last few weeks but are you still up for it?

Thanks JohnPaul! I echo MusicRepo's sentiments 🙌🏻 You are indeed the king of looping 😜🎉

Thank you for your great videos. Would you have a video on simple drum machines with presets to accompany guitar compositions??Might not be what you're expertise is,but your videos are so well done , I'm taking a chance!!

Hi, thank you so much! I don't have such a video at the moment, but it's an interesting suggestion. I am working on a few things along those lines - although I play fiddle so looking at resources suited to fiddle more than guitar - but I will definitely have a think about this for you. Cheers, Jane 👍

Hi, great video! One question… how do you add reverb etc on your lives? is that done in obs or via logic into obs? Thanks

Hey Alan! Thanks so much for your comment - I actually made a video about that exact thing here, so go ahead and take a look, and if you have any questions, I'll be glad to help! x kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJKzmY1tpc2Njck

Don't you need power to run your condenser mike? HOw do you do it going into that looper?

Hey @bassplayer60 👋🏻 My Boss RC 30 looper has phantom power so it's easy peasy!

great stuff, i just want to record onto my phone, but it loses the quality of my guitars, i have done some demos of my martin OOOX1 and it's cousin the OOX1AE on my channel which ought to sound the same, or at least similar, and they do on my phone recordings, but in reality although they are identical materials and design they sound completely different - lost on my phone, so i hope i can set things up using other videos of yours and finally get the subtlety of my guitars immortalised. really clear descriptions and graphics on your videos, top tier stuff.

Thank you for your great video. Can I stream using OBS, and using reverb effect from my Logic ? Thank you
@MusicRepo3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. This is a great question and would be a good follow up to this ... It is on my list. Meanwhile I believe you can do this on Mac using Black Hole obsproject.com/forum/resources/mac-desktop-audio-using-blackhole.1191/ or on PC with Voicemeeter. I will be testing these 2 out soon so hopefully have a tutorial to watch then.

Jose you can see a stream of mine here using Blackhole! You route the plugin through your DAW (Logic) kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZOpaJ6po7GMaaM

Very interesting video thank you. One question : Doesn't Lynz apply any FX on her live stream ?
@LynzCrichton3 жыл бұрын
Hey there Terre Etoilée 👋🏻Sometimes I do use effects and sometimes not. I don't strictly 'need' them on my livestreams as I'm talking to my lovely audience too, BUT here's a video where I used an extra plugin called Blackhole and it gives lovely effects on the livestream - kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZOpaJ6po7GMaaM Hope this helps x

Great video. Thx. Quick question if I may.. If you record guitar track twice and pan left and right for fuller sound wouldn't they be out of sync? I.e. those slight differences in the rhythms? Just curious Grt video. Thx.
@LynzCrichton Жыл бұрын
Hey Phil! Thanks for your question - they can be, so you do have to practice and get the paying reaaal tight. You can also lightly quantise them so this doesn't happen. x

Using a USB mixer instead of an interface is better or?
