To record sound with your video, click Options on the toolbar and go to the Audio tab. Select the checkbox next to the devices you would like to record. Click OK to apply your choices. Click Record to start recording your video with the new Audio options.

On the top one little advice - make this visible while recording as I am not certain sometimes and has to switch the windows to check (between game and desktop). Just create red dot on the screen (that is not recorded). Thanks in advance. My problem in the application is that I cannot record in fullscreen... I must activate the windowed fullscreen in game (which results in 10 fps drop) because this application is telling me that my sound/video device is unplugged and it does not want to record it... Also what is the most efficient way of recording for youtube? I have tried standard Windows recorder that is activated with "Win button" + G and the videoes were like 5-10 GB in size (2-3 hours of the recording). I recorded with Debut yesterday with fast capture option and the same time video - only 2 hours long is like 17 GB in size!! It's way too much... It will take me ages to upload it in KZbin. Any advice to my issues? HOw to record in fullscreen and what is the best quality to size? Thanks a lot!

Please give an option where 2 channels from my audio interface merge and give mono output on both ears. Video records in either one ear, or 2 channels separately in two ears. So I get guitar in one ear and voice in another.

@@educateentertainyourself7092 Yeah you have active the option for sound - listen from the device. You must go to control panel -> sound -> check recording tab and microphone. I have my Windows in Polish so it's hard to explain (don't know how this is named in English) but it is probably "device listening" it must be turned off.

What about ASIO driven sound? I'm using an guitar amp plugin with my Focusrite audio interface. When I use Debut I hear the direkt signal from my guitar but without the sound my plugin produces?! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

HI, I'm having trouble capturing sound with the video from the screen grab when I'm using Pro Tools. I'm able to capture video and sound when I play sound from a streaming service such as Tidal or youtube. Is there a reason why I'm not able to capture sound with my video when using an apllication such as Pro Tools? I followed the video tutorial.

FOR MAC: I just bought VideoPad Editor, Prizm, and Debut (screen capture software). Initially, I was able to capture both video & audio. Then, something must have gotten toggled, and no sound? My Debut version does not have an "Options" tab. It only has "System Preferences" on the toolbar. From "Sound Preferences", click on the "Audio" tab. Make sure the radio button on capture sound" is enabled. The box should show, "built-in input" (same for "sound mixer" window). The device for "input" is the internal built-in microphone. Make sure your "audio jack" is set for output-only (ear phones). The "most important part" (not mentioned in ANY NCH tutorial) is that after you have entered the above settings, you must "close" the Debut application, and reopen it. It took me hours, of not being able to get sound, to finally try closing the application, then reopening it. Viola! It would finally record sound.

Using with a D-link DUB=AV300 Video Grabber with AV to USB cable. Audio works with other capture programs but I cannot get audio with debut. Video is OK. In options / audio I have speakers - Filter Driver selected. Please help as your software looks good but will not work. Tks.

It records only one channel. How do I select MONO or Record only left channel or ANYTHING to get sound from both channels. Do I really need to buy two microphones to do this. There MUST be a way.

Go to encoder and change setting to mono. Not all file extensions have mono. Only a few have, but then it will take from only one input channel, and send it to the other channel. Also the mono options have a very low bit rate. I am also trying to fix this problem.

Your microphone is turned off somehow, go to control panel and check if the microphone is in the recording tab, it must be turned on

blueninja012 Ye, my problem was discord hated me and I couldn’t install the app without a billion error messages. With the website you can’t use headphones as in output device and then one day I download discord PTB. That worked and eventually the regular discord did too! I enabled MMDevice with my mic and output devices and everything worked!
