So now I know what my Mother is. It explains so much. But the pain, oh God the pain. How do I deal with the unrelenting pain while my elderly "mother" is still in my life?

Hello Tina , Thank you for your comment. Please, check this: facebook.com/profile/100044579702957/search/?q=narcissist There is a lot of material about Narcisism, so we suggest you to do some research and make the decision that best works for you. So far, most people without children would recommend to leave them as they do not change at all, but if you get them to see what the patterns are and that these come from their childhood upbringing, they might be willing to something about it to change, but that is up to them, not to others.
