Don’t so this!!! You can: -resell the empty cartridge to people who want to sell their camera but don’t know if it works (2,5-5$) -you can use it as a photo holder (my personal choice) - you can cut the aluminum spring to create a double exposure maker -and I think you can even reuse the batteries?

I use the batteries for Spectra cartridge and for I-TYPE to be used in 600 or sx-70 camera

What chemistry are the new battery packs? Are they still of the zinc-chloride type or are they something else that should be recycled differently?

Hunter Compton I think those chemicals got prohibited and they use a new formula

@@youtumax1996 That was for the film developing chemicals. The original film packs used zinc-chloride "polapulse" batteries, and zinc-chloride batteries are still readily available. However, I heard that the new Polaroid Originals packs may use Li-Ion batteries.

I mean this is an old comment - but for anyone still wondering this it’s Li-on (Lithium-Ion)

The only way to use peel apart film cameras is using One Instant film, you can also buy an adapter online for use with Instax Wide instant film.

I would like to know how to dispose the pictures. Do i have to open them an scrape out the color since all the chemicals are inside?

Why are you getting rid of the pictures? That's the entire point of the polaroid

The plastic doesn’t have a recycling symbol on it, so it’s not going to get recycled, because its type cannot be determined and sorted.
