Cool video! You could use the measuring ruler, drag it along the picture border, and that should give you the angle needed to make it straight. Other than that, the blowing up the picture behind the original photo is such a cool and pretty idea. I'm definitely gonna start doing that.

The three posts thing can be called a triptych. Very artsy stuff.

Hey boss, would love to see that “better” way of scanning :)

Did you somehow not mention the issue of "newton rings" when scanning?

Off topic and probably a dumb question but.. what is that yellow thing attached to the polaroid now?
@JustAnotherChris11 ай бұрын
It’s not attached it’s just sitting in it. It’s called the Polaroid mint

Hello, I'm scanning my polaroids on an Epson V600. I want to keep the detail of the border, but it's blowing it out to the point it will be difficult to recover even in photoshop. What are you doing. Can you recommend a technique to also keep the detail of the border?

I used to scan with the photo on the glass with a gray card behind it ... I now use a Brooklyn Camera SX70 plastic thing that keeps it off the glass ... I use an ancient Epson V500 and Vuescan!!!
@JustAnotherChris3 жыл бұрын
Yes they do have that but it’s hard to justify paying $50 for it.

Very informational, I've been thinking about buying an Instax mini there are just so many. I'm not exactly sure which one to get between the latest or an earlier model, any suggestions?
@JustAnotherChris3 жыл бұрын
Hmm I like the mini 9 it’s older BUT that means you can find it for cheaper. However there isn’t a lot of differences from the newer ones it really comes down to preference. Maybe I will do a video comparing them 🤔

The 11 has auto exposure instead of doing it manually

I have the mini 90 and loveee it. It has so many features and it’s nice being able to control turning the flash on or off, lighten/darken, kid mode for action shots & it has double exposure.

also... We are trying to perfectly reproduce a polaroid photo and are using a scanner, photoshop and the polaroid lab. All looks great until we use the lab. The results are awful, really awful. Is there a way of reproducing polaroid photos like for like?

Great video but I have a suggestion - I think you should make your video titles shorter, they're way to long. In this video for example, I think that the title should have been "How I scan my instant photography photos". There's no need for the rest. Just my opinion tho
