How to Refill EPSON EcoTank Printers

This video will show you how to refill EPSON EcoTank printers using InkOwl refill products. You can refill the printer with ordinary printing ink or with specialty inks for sublimation or screenprinting.

I will be ordering a set of die sub fir my soon to come Epson TX-15000. Will probably get the larger bottles that do not come with syringe or needles. Which size syringe do you recommend?

If you initially put epson ink it came with can you change the ink at any point? Or do you have to start with a brand and stay with it? I'm asking if they mix bad? Or is it possible to mix or at the least put different ink when the original is low? Never mind ink owl is a specialty ink therefore cannot be mixed ot has to be a brand new printer?

If it's our refills for regular photo and document printing, these are designed to mix with EPSON ink. However, if you're looking to use a specialty ink like sublimation, you absolutely would need to drain the EPSON ink out. If you tell me what exactly is in your printer right now, and what you're looking to do with it, I can give you advice for your particular situation.

Are the inks close enough to mix into an in use 8550? Will they work with the original profiles? I only print photos.

Indeed, our inks for the ET-8550 (www.inkowl.com/inkjet/ink-refill-kits/epson/6-pack-compatible-ink-bottles-for-epson-ecotank-printers-using-552-ink/P16392/) were formulated deliberately to be mixable with the original and with an excellent color match. You would simply pour these in as you do with original ink, and continue using your original print settings for your photos.

You need to say if the syringes are reusable, how to clean them, etc

Hi, the syringes are definitely reusable. Simply rinse with water after use and set them aside to dry before putting them away. Even still, it's a good idea to label each syringe and use each syringe for 1 color only.

Im using epson L3110. Is there any way to flush the old original ink inside the tank?

There is not really any way to do that. Of course, our inks are designed to mix with Epson's original ink.

Is it possible to to get the old ink out with sucking it out through the tubes connected to the cartridge inside the epson et 2720?

Unfortunately, it's not really possible to get the old ink out of an ET-2720. You can do "Power Cleanings" (see the EPSON manual for detail) repeatedly until the ink is all drained, but all this excessive cleaning risks ruining the printhead, so this is not recommended at all!
