Why are you advising for second cartridges? We must be able to refill the current cartridges when they are used like 75%, what's the issue here that i am not able to understand?

We provide the tape strip for free in our refill kits just in case the plug gets damaged during removal, so that the cartridge can still be sealed. We also sell replacement plugs as well on our website for that purpose.

I'd like to order the the North American holemaking tool, but does it come with a plug so I can plug up my MFP m277 dw Hewlett Packard cartridge after I make the hole? I didn't see those plugs for sale on your website.

The hole needs to be sealed with aluminum duct tape for it to be truly airtight. This tape should be provided with the toner kit, but if ever you need, you can always order some from us along with the tool.

Please be sure you have the orange clip attached during the refill process and only remove it when the plug is put back in. If the problem continues, definitely contact your vendor for support!

Been using these for four years now on my MFC-J6930W. Sometimes "cannot detect cartridge" will pop up on a tank (after a year or two). Have tried replacing battery on the chip, never successful. Bought a full new set of cartrige's and replace just the chip (slides right off the tank). Most recent chip change didn't work. Cleaned the points with a pencil eraser (on the brand new chip that's been in my cupbord for 2 years) and away it went. Wish I'd have started with that. Either way, happy with this product. Huge $$ savings over time. Can't buy just the chips but if you love your printer and in it for the long haul, Inkowl is a no-brainer. Again, chips on the tanks only last about 2 years in service so expect to replace them but.... Yeah, worth it.

I picked up a Brother printer that uses the LC61 ink (specifically because it has no chip) and found these on aliexpress, asked myself "What about the door sensor issue.." and this answers it perfectly.

My printer if out of warranty and I don't understand why HP keeps messing with the firmware to force me to buy HP toners. I worked for HP and I would never purchase a different brand. I have my laserJet 4000 series which is a work horse. I've had it since they came out and I also have a color laser jet I purchased at costco. I know HP makes money on the ink and it is good quality ink. Sorry HP I don't print pictures. Not many people do. I don't need good quality ink to print emails or mundane stuff. It is my printer and should be able to put wherever 3rd party ink I want. Isn't what they are doing kind of monopoly?

The HP 19A is the number of the drum unit. The cartridge in your printer would be the 17A, and this is the part that holds the toner powder.

Another channel suggests using a large syringe (100ml) and pulling on the syringe with ink in it (creating a vacuum) instead of pushing down. I had a little accident while using overpressure if you get what i mean.

At this time (Feb 2024), there are no refill options for the P9570. I would definitely recommend getting a different printer if you wish to use refill inks such as these!

I have two sets of cartridges, but they are both setup cartridges. I see in the video that the second set does not have an installation cartridge. Is this important? Can I achieve my goal with the Setup cartridge?

Setup cartridges can only be used in the printer that they came with. Therefore, if you really do have 2 Setup cartridge sets, they would have come from 2 different printers. The 1 set that came with this printer can be used, of course, but the other one will not be usable.

Hi, I have refilled the SETUP cartridges but I missed the step 5, refilled cartridges showed up as Depleted when inserted and now I get ''Used, Refilled or Counterfeit" in the app, without ink level. Also, the ink is dye-based and print quality is not very good so I'm gonna order pigment ink, what can I do next? 1. Should I remove the ink (that I put) from the SETUP cartridges and refill them with pigment ink and reinsert the same cartridges? 2. Should I fill my depleted 953XL cartridges with pigment ink and replace the SETUP ones, or something else?

Indeed, if you skip the priming step (step 5 in our video), the cartridges will be rejected. Dye-based ink is of course also not ideal. You really want to be using a pigment-based ink designed specifically for these printers. In any case, you must also never remove cartridges unless and until they are marked as "Depleted". As such, if your SETUP ones are in there now with the dye ink, removing them now will render them un-refillable in the future. Therefore, my recommendation would be to remove them and throw them away, and replace them with a brand-new set of cartridges. Once these cartridges go depleted (and just for the specific color that's depleted of course), you could take your spare 953XL, refill with pigment ink, and install.

The church I am volunteering with has a MFP M477FDW, thank you for the information about that continue printing. Now the cartridges I have seem to have a refill hole, will the bottles you showed work with that hole or do I have to "solder" one out. Also, I was able to buy from ank ink on amazon on Black Friday I was able to get 4 color 410a cartridges for $35. I am guessing that was a one time deal. With your ink at $54 for a kit of 4 colors, at 60g am I getting enough toner to fill more than one color of cartridge? Or should I stay with my deals? I just discovered 410x as well. I just thought well that bulk toner would be as cheap as bulk ink but I have not seen that yet.

If the cartridges already have a hole with a plug, you can fill through that same hole. The bottles we sell are indeed for 1 refill.

Our method as shown in the video is definitely superior in that you don't need to modify the cartridge at all! Our refill kit includes the specially-adapted refill tips that mate perfectly with the CANON cartridges for very easy filling right through the exit hole! There is no limit to how many times you can re-use a cartridge!

Indeed, our inks for the ET-8550 (www.inkowl.com/inkjet/ink-refill-kits/epson/6-pack-compatible-ink-bottles-for-epson-ecotank-printers-using-552-ink/P16392/) were formulated deliberately to be mixable with the original and with an excellent color match. You would simply pour these in as you do with original ink, and continue using your original print settings for your photos.

Thank you, my wife needed to print some stuff out for tomorrow but our toner ran out, took apart a toner that was just less than half full from an older model of our printer that died and used that toner to fill the new but now empty cartridge but couldn't figure out why the machine kept saying it was empty still. The info on the menu to reset the cartridge was the info I was missing now we can print again for a while until we get more toner in.

Did you use a cannula needle as shown in the video? If you used a regular hypodermic needle, the seals on the cartridge have certainly been damaged. Unfortunately, once a cartridge leaks, it will need to be replaced.

If the cartridge is leaky, that is to say, if you continually shake the cartridge, ink continually leaks out of the exit holes, then it will need to be replaced.
