hello! It's a great idea to save money and help earth enviroment. But I have a question: by doing this king of refilling, is it possible to print that printer status that shows number of pages printed and % of colour left inside the toner?

No, when refilling, the printer will always indicate an empty toner level. However, it's not a concern, since the printer will always carry on printing. You'll know when it's time to refill when one of the colors drops out of your prints.

For this model, I'd put the number around 3-5 refills before the quality starts to degrade unacceptably. However, it's not the act of refilling that affects the print quality, but rather the printing of thousands and thousands of pages that gradually wear out the cartridge components. So, if the cartridge was still printing acceptably prior to going empty, it can be refilled!

Since one of the steps is to dump out the residual toner, you should only refill when the cartridge is truly empty and no longer printing. To refill sooner is a waste of toner!

Replacing the chip is not required on this printer, since you can bypass the low toner error on the printer. We don't recommend replacing the chip as aftermarket chips are very expensive and not fully reliable.
