Real talk, that whole "i liked it better when you had more fat on you". This alone put me into the depression that reset me back in 2015. When the people you love tell you that you don't look good, it really hits you hard. Bu ti loved the way i looked and wanted to pack on more size but I let their voices be stronger than my own. At 6'3", im up to 280lbs of unhappy. I just want to be happy again. But this, this video is the jumping off point. This is the motivation i needed to get back into it.

I myself went from 262 lb to 135 and I do fluctuate between 135 and 141 but I will tell you right now if you are not mentally ready you are not going to achieve it based off of doing it for a boyfriend or girlfriend or other family members I didn't on and off for many years you have to really want it for yourself and I did it when I turned 26 I am now 30 when my 26th birthday hit I thought if I'm not going to do it now I'm never going to do it so I got up I started with a small steps I keep said and I never quit and I kept the smaller steps as I chose more small steps and just kept going and going it's never giving up always attempting to succeed and pushing your body to the limits because your body is able to do a lot more than what we give it credit for it's an amazing thing it is a temple amen.

Endie910 the number one tip I could give you is don't beat yourself up if you happen to fall and mess up on your diet or your changed lifestyle as I call it just pick yourself back up and start again that is the number one thing I tell everyone it doesn't matter if you had a milkshake for dinner but you did good all day it doesn't mean to do bad for the rest of the week keep your head up I know you could do it we all just need motivational people in our life and it's hard when you don't have people around you that are on the same page as you sometimes you feel alone in the journey but let me tell you once you accomplish that Journey everyone will ask you what you're doing how you did it and it's all about not giving up.

I have a 14 month old daughter and a fince'...but I'm not as happy as I know I should be. I'm dying to reach my true potential, and it led me to this video. WOW! I've never seen Will Smith's interview. His words are so true. I agree with you, family can have a huge affect on one's fitness motivation. My husband has been working out with me for several months, but he hinders me in that he does a few reps and then is done. Whereas, I'm still working out and now feel pressured to quit. Or he eats like a mouse and I feel pressured to stop eating - "women should have smaller portions than men. " Don't get me wrong - I love that he is on his fitness journey. I just wish it didn't make me feel so bad about how I'm achieving mine.

Ive struggled with ky weight since high school. Ive always had big breast so i refused PE in school. It hurt to run and jog and i was made fun of for having big breast. Ive lost weight and i battle with depression so ive put on alot of weight now. Ive had 3 children. My 1st child i was average before having her. After my second daughter i packed on 20 pounds. Then throughout the years alot of obstacles i really put on weight. After the birth of my last daughter i gained even more. After her it never came off. My boyfriend was very abusive and it made my depression worst. I found comfort in food n sleeping. I recently had a breast reduction and i have so much more energy and i finally enjoy running and jogging. Watching this video made me see what my weakness is and why i havent lost weight. Its relationships. Thankyou for the help and inspiration

Wow! Just came across your channel this morning! Am I ever glad for your content....I needed this more than I even knew. It was as though you were speaking directly to me, one on one! I’ve struggled with weight my entire life. Lost a significant amount of weight a few years ago but regained most of it over the past 4 years. That quote about the brick wall is exactly my story; the wall was up but the bricks were not all perfectly layed ...excuse after excuse, eventually the weight came back and my “wall” has crumbled. Time to reflect on the why’s and do this for ME. No more talking, but more doing👊 THANK YOU GABRIEL!!

I just wanted to say thank you. I've been struggling with anxiety issues due to the fact that I've hit a massive plateau in my fat loss journey. You made me think about the things that are contributing to the anxiety and I honestly didn't want to admit it but parents, despite being your number one fans, can also be your worst critics. I haven't been able to go into my wardrobe and put on one outfit that I felt good in for a couple of weeks now and it's because my mum doesn't like the way I dress. It sounds so petty but I've been bullied for my appearance before and now the one person meant to protect me from that is doing just the same.

First of all thank you so much for this video! Your message hit home for me. Many points I need to address within myself. I've been so successful on my health journey. I've lost 120 lbs, built a lot of muscle. I feel amazing physically, probably look great to most people, but emotionally I have to address some things. I have a tendency to self sabatoge, especially when people I trust make comments about my body, or past pains come to revisit. I always come back to my purpose and healthy habits and it helps me to refocus. But the pain is still there. I will do your exercise with the burning of things holding me back. It's time to let go. Definitely cried during this video. Celebrating the small victories, I've gotta start doing that. This video was right on time. Thank you. Thank you so much.

This was really important for me. After losing 40+ pounds and feeling a bit better about myself physically, I have lost the motivation completely, and really needed to perform this exercise. It woke me up to the fact that my biggest fear is that once I am thin, I and the world will no longer be able to blame my weight for how worthless I am. I'm afraid that it will finally come to light that the core of my being is what everyone hates and what has made me worthless all along. I'm afraid to no longer have my scapegoat to blame for my shortcomings. I am in tears. This was a huge revelation for me. Am I more than my weight?? I have no idea, but I think I need to begin on the journey to find out. I have a lot to work on, but I am ready to begin my journey again. Tomorrow is a new day. Thank you so much for making this video.

Thanks for this video! Even though it is not motivation that is regularly slowing down or stopping me in my weight loss journey, it is my terribly messed up knee, still this video was very helpful! Just as soon as the swelling and pain is more or less down, I am back to the gym.....minus 20kg and counting. It is not easy but it does not mean that it is not possible!

Thank you!! I needed this... You and Lauren are so real. I do sometimes make so much excuses. Running and climbing are what I love to do and when I let other people judge me for my goals. Domino effect!! I lose focus.. but this helped thank you...

Honestly, my reason is plain and simple, back 6 years ago I was constantly going to the gym, didn't have that great a diet plan, but I was starting to look great physically, but after I moved back home from college, I lost all motivation to get to the gym, and this happened for a couple years down the road, my muscle shrunk down to normal inactive muscles, shortly after it has also been replaced by fat tissue, and slowly but surely, I found out I gained 25lbs in fat, then a year later, I found out it ended up being another 50lbs gained, I started going back to the gym 2 years ago, it hasn't been as consistent as I wanted it to be for the first year back, but after these past 6 months, I've found that spark to keep going again, when I first came back, I was unsatisfied at my appearance at 310lbs, in the first 3 months of being back into it, I lost 20lbs, but sadly that was my plateau weight, I was getting stronger, my muscles grew at a great rate, but all in all, even if I have lost body fat, it doesn't even feel like it when I'm still at 290lbs after two years, I understand it has to do with diet as well, but the way it worked was I'd always have my food ready for me at dinner, and that became a habit for me which kept me from cooking my own meals which I knew would help me out, so even as I got stronger, I never did lose that weight, and I have come close to wanting to give up, but I kept at it, even if it was inconsistent for a bit, I kept forcing myself to go, I'd get pumped and do my thing, and now after so long, I finally have that visual goal of how I'd like my body to look, and that is something that I will strive for from here on out, I'm not turning back, I will achieve my goals
