Hi Steve, you can get a Sterno flat folding camp stove for $11.00 at Walmart or e-bay. You can use Sterno canned fuel or get an alcohol burning burner that burns rubbing alcohol. Alcohol camping burners are about $8.00 on e-bay. The burner can replace the Sterno fuel can. 70% rubbing alcohol runs about $1.75 per bottle and will run for 5 or 6 meals. The Sterno fuel or alcohol are not as good in the wind as propane but the Sterno stove will protect the burners pretty good from the wind. Thanks, Mickey ( my picture icon is Sunset Key, taken from Mallory Square.)
@KeyWestKayakFishing7 жыл бұрын
Yea, that would work good, but if you leave it at home, nothing works. LOL. Propane is like a camping microwave.

You end up getting a lot of smaller ones as well. If you use top water or live pinfish which smaller ones won't aggressively go after, your bites will be more consistently by larger fish.

I'm thinking about getting a kayak but I wanted one that I can stand up and throw a cast net. What would you recommend?....I'm thinking of a tarpon 120.
@KeyWestKayakFishing7 жыл бұрын
You want wide. The Tarpon is a great kayak but specifically for stand fishing it is a bit narrow. I can do fine on my 140 but if there is a bit of chop or wind it can get rocky. A bit wider would be better.
