How To Remove 20R Engine From Toyota Pickup/Hilux

Today I'll show how I remove the 20R engine from the rusty Ohio 1980 Pickup. This engine runs well and will be freshened up and re-used for this project, but it will be mated to a 5-speed instead of the automatic.

Pretty sure the coolant turned to gel because someone mixed the wrong kinds of different coolant together. Never seen it before but that’s what I’ve heard.

NGK is one of Toyota's suppliers of rear main seals. My 1993 22R-E's stock rear main seal is NGK.

I love watching your progress and thanks for taking us along, but I often wonder, why put so much effort into a 2WD ute? A 4x4, I'd understand - they are great for off-road and fetch a good price if you were to sell it, but a 2WD. What am I missing?
