Use a screw driver to remove old hoses, stick it up the hose.

Put on top at front of the line and a little twist will free the line.

Man that is a lot of work 😳 Why didn't you just slide the hose off the line 😒 Probably a couple of days to get rid of the old gas odor on your body Good luck with that 👍

You haven’t ever pulled a vintage line off a nipple, be it fuel or otherwise. I’m not saying he did it perfectly, but when it’s adhered like that you either slice it or bend the fitting. You’re going to replace the rubber line anyway unless you’re a true idiot. And don’t give advice about something you’ve never done. Varnished gas does wash off but if you knew what you were talking about all he had to do was drain the tank under the truck. You know, the other end of that rubber line?

Too get the line of just take pliers give a little twist on the line it will come loose .

Who gives a shit and why when you replace the rubber hose anyway? That’s from 1972, you think the fuel hasn’t glued the rubber fuel line to the nipple? God damn.

The one thing I wanted to see...you didn't film. Getting the tank spout through to the inside. Why didn't you drain it first....smh

Yeah, it’s just a matter of disconnecting that rubber line from the aluminum fuel line under the truck. Not sure what a fuel spout would be but on the top left the filler tube is rubber. If you get the tank in right it lines right up.
