How to remove a pet stain out of carpet with Quantum X vacuum

First time using the wet pick up on my new Quantum X vacuum. Had a dried in pet stain on carpet. Did the vacuum get up the stain?

Yes when using to pull up water tank should be empty.

I bought two of theses I just love love love this machine it does the job.all you have to do is vacumm with any machine and then vacumm over with this you will be amazed.I had every vacumm out there and this machine will out do all.

For bad stains soak for 20 mins then rub the fibers deeply with the back of a spoon. In some case also use dishwater soap or even alcohol. (Carefully test first) then do why you did.

Alcohol breaks down glue fibers so that's not optimal dishwater soap can create a ton of soap. Just do as ya did hot water that's it and if needed the brush attachment then the regular one if at all or just this demo. Still seems like a ton of h2o tho minimal is always best imho

I’m working on a pet stain where my one dog got sick I just got the machine today so I am going to do what you have and try again hopefully it will work for me 😢as it didn’t the first time

Never rub stains into your carpet if just gets deeper in and it will only seem removed from surface

That stain has never returned I think the trick is use plenty of water to soak down deep then extract it out

How do you remove the cord that you used for sucking up the water? No matter what I do, it won't come off!

You have to twist hose where it connects to machine and line up the tabs then pull straight out

I was in a tornado in Gaylord MI. In May I lost everything to my quantum ex vacuum except the vacuum, the power cord and instructions I do not have I have been trying to find a power cord so I can use my vacuum. Been trying to look online with no luck somebody who has the booklet could you possibly look up the power cord and send me an address or a number that I can call to order one please

Not suggested leaving water in tank after use, overnight probably wouldn’t hurt anything but it’s so easy to empty and refill really no need to do such.

There is a strong wind/air blowing out from the that black area with the horizontal openings (below the water basin) , is that normal ? and is that where the fragrance air (when you use their fragrance drops) would mainly come out from ?

That is the exhaust of the vacuum so that is totally normal. And yes that is where the fragrance would escape from the machine.

After someones finish using the Quantum X Upright Vacuum. What they if they drop the dirty dusty water on their carpet or floor. Won't what mess up their Carpet. So why use a Quantum X Vacuum to mess up your Carpet.

I’d rather take the chance on dropping the water (which in over 30 years has never happened) than use a vacuum with a dry filter system that leaks and spreads the dirt back all over the house.

Have you tried using the Quantum X with powdered or liquid carpet cleaner/refresher to "shampoo" your carpets? I am considering getting this vacuum, and just curious if it does this... Thanks for your reviews!

The Quantum vacuum really isn’t intended for shampooing carpets, but as I showed in this video does a great job of spot removal or spill pick ups. I would really suggest using or renting a carpet cleaner to shampoo your carpets. Hope this of some help.

hi. theres a screw in the back where the attachments goes. Am i suppose to take the screw out for the hose to go in

Your hose attaches in the back of unit where the cap is. Twist and open the cap and that’s where you attach the hose. Make sure you line up the notch on the hose and inlet assembly to properly connect and hold the hose in place you do this by giving the hose a half turn. Hope this helps.

I just came across the Quantum Vacuum by chance today. How is the Quantum Vacuum different than a carpet cleaner?

The quantum X mainly is a water trap vacuum which eliminates dust blown back into the air as you sweep and never loses any airflow. However it also will pick up wet spills (try that with a regular vacuum). A carpet cleaner puts down soap then rinses the carpet to clean the oils and grease that can accumulate on carpets by simply having it on your shoes or when you cook oil becomes airborne and can land on the floor. I have a carpet cleaner also for this reason. However for a quick pet stain/and or spill the quantum X can quickly clean the area. Hope this is of some help!

This vacuum started to be advertised on my Facebook feed yesterday so I have been watching a few videos on them and it looks like they've been around for a while now. How long have you had this vacuum and do you recommend it? Our family has two dogs and a cat and three girls with long thick hair and the hair ends up everywhere and more annoyingly it gets wrapped up in the roller brush in my Shark vacuum. I spend a lot of time cutting hair off of the roller brush. Does the quantum brush have a roller brush as well and is it easy to clean?

I’ve had my Quantum X since January this year 2020 so around 6 months. Still works great use it about twice a week. I do have a cat and have never had any hair issues on the roller brush. Now not sure if long hair would be different it might. And yes I would recommend this vacuum it works great and is easy to use.

Outside is best. Or get a “spatter screen” and a bucket filter out the debris throw in trash and then safe to empty the dirty water down a drain. Hope this helps.

So far I really love my Quantum X. I have been a water trap vacuum user for many many years. This by far is much easier to use than the canister types. So Pro’s is ease of use. Has lots of airflow to pick up dirt. Wet pickup works great. All tools included for floor to ceiling cleaning. The only slight con I can list it’s a little tricky to put the water container in place on the machine. Once you do it several times though it really is no longer an issue. It also is louder than most upright vacuums but I believe that is because of the immense power the machine delivers. Hope this helps.
