When this happened to me it was actually the button that was causing the continuous flow rather than the valve. Maybe that's why they updated the button design to make it more reliable?

Yeah the new button screws slowly screw down and customers have problem flushing. Bad design all round really

I don't like Roca flush valves🫤 if I can I usually swap them for fluidmaster pro 🤓
