I hope you’re going to do one putting it all together again. Was that a fairly new machine? Didn’t seem too dusty of fluffy. Love to see one that shows how clogged up they can get inside. Just waiting for mine coming back from service. Good to know what they look like nude!

This was a useful start point for taking apart my JD 1818. I just fixed it and put it back together, have four screws left over... hopefully they weren't for anything important!

Thank you with Covid it's hard to get my machines to be serviced and the companies that make these machines are so rotten that they jam up the new machines and make it impossible to do a simple oiling on a machine to prevent a break down. They don't want people to open them up because they want to hide the quality of the materials used to make the machines. If people saw what they were really paying for they would certainly think twice about throwing money away on a poorly made machine. I'm not going to name brand names here.( Plastics, Plastics and more Plastics) Thank you again.
