Hi Derrick! THANK YOU for all of your content. Was going to install the back up camera/rear view mirror (AutoVox V5 Pro) above the license plate, but after seeing your's mounted on the back glass I would prefer to go that way. Is the garnish trim the piece on outside that holds the emblem?

@quentin1956 yes. The emblem is simply taped on. You can use some high tension fishing line and a heat gun to remove it, but I don't remember if there are any alignment pegs on the back of the emblem or not.

@VampyreX13 I should've made a more complete question as I left out a big part as I was sidetracked at the time , I had a mechanic install a lighted emblem but I want to replace it and am not sure how to

@@quentin1956 I don't exactly know how your emblem was installed, but you should be able to pop off that garnish to see how it's attached and wired.
