How to Remove and Replace Front Disc Brake Pads - 1998 Audi A6 Quattro

Here is how you remove and replace your front disc brake pads. This is being performed on a 1998 Audi A6 but the procedure should be very similar for all cars equiped with a front disc brake system.

How many sensors does the set of front brake pads have?

i did my rear rotors and breaks and those caliper brackets took the life out of me to remove. they was on there from factory it seems. i have a 2000 A6 and need to do my front rotors. plus i saw your other video on the ball joints and all that. mines is getting a hard vibration on the highway when i turn the wheel to the left. seems like the whole right side shakes. any thoughts? thanks and great videos bud. you saved me tons of cash. New York mechanics are scared of Audis and over charge

Instead of pulling fluid from the master cylinder, you could open up the bleeder screws. (Clamp the brake line just upstream from the piston). Just a thought

Good videos, but if you have a two part rear brake with one set of pads for the stopping and one set for the e-brake, the hand brake test isn't 100% foolproof.
