Do as I say not as I do! Okay... it isn't that bad. I definitely could have made this job a lot easier with some better planning!

Hey Mike! Found your videos looking for help on a 71 CB750 a friend and I are getting back on the road! This video came out the same day my friend got the motor to idle after a full top end rebuild. Thanks for your awesome content and keep it real!

That's great Owen! These are fun, simple old machines. I'm glad you guys got yours fired up and idling. 🤘

Ok, so. Your installation video for a Battery Disconnect was helpful. However, why does my truck start, but unscrewing the little knob does NOT kill the connection??? Please Help!!! (Thought I'd ask on your newest video thinking you'd be likelier to see questions on it , than one you posted 2 years ago)
@Mike_Barker3 жыл бұрын
Sound like you could have a bad disconnect. Other have reported that they can sometimes have an internal short.

To get the bushing out I had to make 2 cuts in length with a saw blade in the bushing then it came out with a hammer etc.
@Mike_Barker4 жыл бұрын
That's a really great strategy for a stuck old bushing!
@protectorh91674 жыл бұрын
@@Mike_Barker yes it worked well , the bushings looked if they where glued but with the 2 saw cuts it came out with no problem, only little bit damage , cut to far , he I am not a pro.(I am Dutch, hope you understand my writing)

I'm so glad I found this channel. I just picked up a 80 cb750f. You sir are a legend. I'm looking to paint my engine black, do you have any recommendations for paint?

Hey Mike you really should not have a chain that has a master link and clip, it really should be a chain that needs to be riveted on, the master link chains are usually for dirt bikes not street bikes, I just want you to be safe out there brother!
@Mike_Barker4 жыл бұрын
Jose you have a good point. I know the rivet type is a stronger setup. 👍
