How to Remove Heat Transfer Vinyl

I use my tweezers to lift the HTV. It’s easier than gloved hands. Love VLR.

Hi Angie, I just got my VLR in the mail today. I used it on the back of the shirt I goofed on like the instructions said to do and this product worked great but then I tried it on the vinyl letters on the front and it was awesome. It works faster on the letters themselves then it did on the backside. This product is amazing. :)

I take it that the towel had been through the wash many times, but you could still remove the regular HTV? Pretty amazing.

Your videos are soo helpful and insightful. I had the following thoughts: Maybe the factor isn't a patterned htv because the Mickey head is also a patterned HTV. It may be dependent on the size (thinness) of the cutout or the company that makes the vinyl. Also, would this work on a non-stretch tote bag?

Mickey heads were not a patterned HTV. The heads are cut out of the HTV. And I think it would work on a tote.

Do yu still use this same brand of vinyl remover? I bought Heat Transfer Warehouse's Vinyl Letter Remover Solvent . Their demonstration video made it look simple. BUT, I had to use so much product that it wicked over to the next word. I had to scratch the glue off with my fingernail, and the color from the vinyl stained the fabric. The next time i tried it, i actually used most of the can, had to scratch off the glue and it stained the project. Do not recommend that product.
