Great video. Love the detail like bolt sizes etc particularly the E12 Torx which I was scratching my head on. Useful to see how wary you are of rusted bolts otherwise I’d just be impact wrenching till they snap. I’ve got a feeling you’re vids are gonna be damn useful for my Freelander 1 restoration

The 2 front 18mm Headed subframe bolts - you can lube the captive nuts and see them by removing the metal bungs after lifting rear carpet under rear seats.

just a thought would it not have been easier to dismantle the inner cv joint lower the driveshaft and then pop out the other driveshaft ????

hello from russia)))) it was necessary to release the three lower levers on each side, remove the two axle shafts assembly. disconnect the cardan shaft caradan. and the differential can be easily removed. everything is as written in the manual))))

Have you ever fitted LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2.0D Aux Belt Tensioner 00 to 06 3229982RMP Drive V-Ribbed are they easy or do I need to time everything up to undo cam chain cover as i have not does one before please advise be helpful always watch you show

Hi mate the auxiliary belt or / fan belts you do not need to time anything up if you are doing a timing belt or a timing chain then yes you do need to time things up
