I know you said this how you do it your way.... I do a little bit of window cleaning and auto detailing I have experience in removing window tint, car badges and other type of adhesives...if you want to ever make your job go by quicker add heat to removing rather it's a wall paper steamer ..a heat gun or any regular steamer trust me it would come off in one piece and all the glue residue all at once

I think just to add on to this... DONT OVER HEAT THE GLASS AS IT WILL BREAK! ahaha
@misterservicepro94074 жыл бұрын
trust me if using a back and fourth motion and not staying in one spot for too long you never have that problem it's for more risky using a razer blade on glass then it is using a decent steamer or heat gun I use my heat gun for everything even prying open the glue seal on plastic headlights no problems at all

Had a job a while back where I had to remove that frosted stuff, friggin nightmare, was there half the day for 4 medium windows, never again! Also with large stickers etc, I've found that sometimes there's a reason they were put on there in the first place which was to cover scratches/blemishes etc so good to warn the client of that possibility as well if they are new to the premises. Keep the vids coming Steve, love em!

Thank you for this - perfect timing as I have a customer with a solarium with film tint that is bubbled, crackling, just old and UV'd out. It's pretty thin. I was wondering ways I could offer of taking it off for them, as I'm pretty new. The comment from Mister Service DFW is good also -- yes used heat for vinyl off vehicles, etc. so that could be an option B if the water and razor isn't working. Yuk is that it's the ceiling part that is wrecked and needs to come off. Vertical walls are fine. If anyone has anything to add to this type of tint removal, I appreciate it in advance. Yes, it's tempered too, of course.
