I know their is a recall issued on these LCMs. Is there a fix available at your local dealer??

I’ve been having this issue a lot on my 07 crown Vic I paid 334 for a new one and I’ve had to take two back im waiting on a 3rd for some reason they are just rebuilding them. Does ford still give u a new one

Tried removing LCM from my 2005 Crown Vic. Got the LCM loosened and the lower connectors disconnected. Can not get the upper connector disconnected, because I can not see where the release clip is. Am working blind up there. Is there only one clip? Is it in the middle of connector? Is it out near the wires, or closer to where the connectors mate? Thanks, Tom

You have to unbolt the lcm to get to the last connector!

Ford just did a recall on my 2003 Grand Marquis LS. The letter said they are suppose to change the LCM but when the job was done they told me they did a bypas not replace the module. Just before I brought it in for the recall I started intermit loosing my rear lights. Blinkers and break lights still worked. Its been about 3 weeks since the bypass and my rear lights which was never fixed stopped working permanently, my blinkers stopped working and my dash instruments lights went out, and over head lights stopped working. I am wondering if the 4 relays inside the module, one is for headlights, but if other 3 relays might be bad causing my new problem or could it be the bypass they installed?
