How to Remove Locking lug Nuts with No Key Hacks and Tools

In this video, I go over two methods of removing locking lug nuts when you do not have the key for them. One of them is with a basic DIY'ers tool and the other with with a special toolset.
I had to do this with a recent purchase. When my truck was in the shop, I decided I needed a back up vehicle so I bought an Impreza Wagon. Great little wagon at a great price but no locking lug nut key. I have no desire to have a wheel lock on my vehicles so need to replace these with regular lug nuts, So there ya go.
It might be worth noting that the lug nut removal tool I used can also be used for stubborn nuts that may be rusted on.

Thank you for this! Got a flat yesterday on my way home and to my surprise, no wheel lock key anywhere. Used Method 1 and got it right off. Why do they even bother with these things? Thank you!

Demonstrating yet again that the only people these damn things deter are owners who've lose their key. Anyone going out to steal wheels will have them off without breaking stride.
