I used a steamer, there was still a thin layer of glue on the glass, it was 5 year old bubbled tint. 70% alcohol solution with a microfiber towel wiped it off easily.

@@BigALdeek it was a $25 wallpaper remover from marketplace. Really helped to get most of the glue off and my previous tint was bubbling and low quality, wasn’t coming off easily. I think good quality tint might come off easily if you just let the car sit in sun.

@@Amirsff I agree they are useful but I don’t own one and nobody I know owns a steamer. Luckily I live in Texas it’s very very Hot so maybe 15 mins in the sun 100 degree sun will do it haha I don’t know if the tint is good or bad. I got it from the Dealership like that in Louisiana.

@@BigALdeek definitely, I did it when it was cold. You can also use the black trash bag method with some baking soda solution, that works very well when you just let it sit in Sun. Remaining glue should be easily removable with some multipurpose cleaning solution, I used 70% alcohol.

Do NOT use a razor blade. Use Right Off to remove adhesive residue if isopropyl alcohol does not work.

Steamer, use a steamer to loosen it up, easy goes, let it soak up steam, heat, pull gently. 😂😂😊

Hi, if you would like to preserve the defroster line, you will need plastic razor blades plus the steemer. And slowly remove the film.
