I'd advise against lint rollers because they deposit glue residue on your clothing making the cycle of having to lint roll never ending.

Why would the lint stick to the glue if the glue is sticking to the garment? It makes zero sense but if you want to be sure then use one of the rinsable gel types that have no glue.

A warning to those who plan on buying the electric one, be VERY careful when emptying the lint. My mom had one of these when I was a kid. The front opens exposing the blades inside. Those blades are VERY sharp. I didn’t realize this as a kid and sliced my thumb badly. Be careful

Gotta be careful with lint rollers cause they'll tear the fibers up and make your clothes hairy, which end up causing more pulling and just in general ruin your clothes

I don’t recommend ever using a roller because part of the adhesive will stop to your clothing thus making even more things stick.

Inherited a fabric shaver from my dad. Pretty simple, yet useful thingie! You could also use hair trimmers*... give your sweater a nice buzz cut 😏 * [hair trimmers = NOT an actual tip! Just having some fun here 🙃]
