You need to remove the door panel for a number of different repairs, for example door handles, window regulators, power window motors, door locks and more. One normal issue is that door elevators gets stuck in the middle of the window. Take away fuse, put back fuse, drive elevator up and then down until you hear a beep, new calibration done. This accours for me once every year almost.

+Rob Brown Hi Rob, it's good practice to disconnect the battery whenever you're working with electrical parts. It can also prevent the battery from draining. Hope this helps 1aauto.com 866-403-3393

You might not want to disconnect the battery on these cars when you do not need to. It gives all sorts of weird notifications when you hook it back up.
