You dont, its just paint, remove paint first with a paint disolvent costs about 5$ then just sandpaper the parts and repaint them

NEVER go near chrome with wire wool or other hard abrasive! Tr y a ball of cooking foil soaked in water....the foil is softer than chrome so will not add further scratches or damage.

I used very soft wire wool, i think is better than alu foil, it not do scratches on chrome,

What? You can use steel wool on glass if you want even. Just get the 000 or 0000 type very fine.
