I assembled my wheels wrong by leaving out parts, this tutorial really helps. Update: I easily pried the bearings out to put in the missing parts, and the wheels spin longer now. This tutorial really helped.

At some point, you are probably going to want to replace the bearings. You can clean and oil them, but eventually replacing them is better.

Odd that I've been skating for 25 years and didn't know the trick you showed at the beginning to simply pry them out! Testament to the fact that wheels and bearings usually last me, at least they used to. Had one of my Spitfire Hard Chargers (soft wheels) SPLIT on me today. I was shocked I've never seen that happen.

how much wider are your trucks than your deck? this setup looks insanely stable and grounded. do you not have issues with your foot hitting your wheels with them sticking out that far past the deck?

My problem is that I don't have a skate tool, so I can't take out THE WHEEL not the bearings. I used a wrench and the bolts are soooo strong. Uhhh I took apart my skateboard and there is nothing except for wheels, bearings and a nut. No washers or speed rings. Is that bad? My board runs fine so I think it’s okay but the anatomy of it is really weird. It’s a legit board too not a Walmart or Amazon board.
