Do you know how I could also remove that metal lip left behind that hid the tracks? I’m installing bifold doors and need the extra clearance for the height.

Great video. Are you going to install a new door on this closet? I want to get rid of my old sliding doors but I don’t know which doors to replace with. I guess I can use a curtain for now until I figure out what to do.

I didn’t install new doors I left it open and I made this room my office. I put my office supplies in the closet. I would imagine Home Depot sells closet doors that go in very similarly to these one.

Same! I have the piece at the bottom blocking the doors... I'm crossing my fingers it will allow me to lift the doors and remove them.
