Very helpful. I replaced the A/C condenser, evaporator, blower motor, heater core, odometer gear, ignition switch, and all the cluster lights on my '96 850 this weekend using this video. I now have A/C for the first time in six years. Never could have done it without your help!

Hello Robert. My 70 2000 has dashboard rattling and shaking at 70 mph. would tightening the TORX screws help stop the shaking or would you think it's something else? thanks. phil

Robert, can i replace the plastic piece that is in the very front of the dash against the windshield without removing the whole dash? mine is cracked to hell and squeaks on every bump. Thanks

No that piece is part of the entire dash. Chances are you have broken dash mounts that need to be repaired. Extensive job but worth doing. Which car do you have? Noisy Dash Before and After, Volvo S70, V70, 850 - Auto Information Series

I have the 99 s70 t5. Its obvious the dash has been taken apart before. i have a lot of interior things to do, only reason i bought the car it came manual, and has the 2.3l turbo engine that didnt come in many of the T5 that year. It is mechanically sound, just cosmetic stuff.

You can repair or replace it. Watch video 2 of 3. Last I heard a new dash was about $700. Not sure if Volvo sells them anymore.

FYI - - If your passenger airbag has two bolts and a nut on a stud, you have to remove the bolts, the nut, and the stud
