How to remove the front door panel removal and installation on a Volvo 850 - VOTD

Door panel removal and installation: 30 to 60 minutes.
Needed to pull my door panel to replace the door hand cup so I did a video. You can pull the panel to access the power mirror wire plug, door latch parts and window parts.

Thanks, Robert, for this great video. Just to let you know, I've owned my '97 850 T-5 since it was new, the door panel had never been removed, and there is no "honeycomb" stuff in the bottom of the door. There is a plastic panel where yours is missing. I like that you pointed out that there is no need to remove the speaker, just that one long screw.

FYI, on the older 850s (might be pre '95), the trim piece on the door is held in place differently! If you pull it straight out, you might end up breaking the Clips, like it happened to me ;) You need to push up vertically first, then it comes off instantly. The Clips have some kind of washer that slots directly into the panel, not like the pins on the later models. Might save you some trouble on the older models! Might be only on the older European 850s, not sure about that.
