Problem: the title says "How to Uninstall Reshade From Your PC" but you only show us how to remove it from a specific game. I'm having trouble with it showing up on a game that i did not install it on to which implies it's actually installed on the computer itself and automatically latching on to the newly added game. Could you make a guide on how to uninstall it completely so i never have this issue again?

​@@RiceBowlS3 I found a solution but it's not perfect, just simply clean manualy with the research bar on your HDD and type "reshade". And just be patience. Reshade is a fucking crap and I suspect the program creator want to infect pc's because I found reshade files on "system 32" folder... #malware

I'm running into an issue, I've tried deleting the files, I've tried doing what you're saying here but everytime I open the game back up, the files come back and reshade doesn't actually uninstall. when i close the game, the files dissappear and I can't even delete or run the uninstaller. Opening the game makes them reappear and i still can't delete them or uninstall or anything

I had already tried to delete reshaders manually before finding these instructions and reshaders is still modifying the colors of my login screen at start up of my computer; I also uninstalled and reisntalled the entire game, so how do I get whatever remnants of this program are still in my system? thank you

If you remove the Dll file or remove reshade from your PC will the effects still be installed to the game you installed Reshade too? Or does it have to stay on for the effects of Reshade to stay?

Just curious if you happen to come across this I realize this is an old video .. does re-shade get removed from your system if Let’s say, you deleted the game that you installed it to. say I have it installed on dead by daylight, I uninstall Dead by Daylight thru steam or uninstaller( hypothetical) -Does that also uninstall re-shade if I clean up the registry? I don’t want to uninstall reshade I want to double down and improve it. I’m just curious if this applies or not because I’m having a really hard time getting all the stuff on it to work or figuring out what any of it does but I’m keeping it but I like to know my software.

Just redownload the install file from the website.... Then just run it and choose uninstall...

Apparently new verstion out on same link i couldn't get it to work but after i uninstalled it now supports my 4k ultra hd settings im on pc the game looks awesome after the uninstall lol i dont know what it left behind but it fix the game for me and made it look better then it ever has it only look good in 1980x now supports 4096x
