Is there a wat to “unset” or recondition a mainspring, I have always just replaced the mainspring as needed, but I have always wondered if reconditioning is possible. Thanks!

Hello, I would like to follow the instructions of your videos, I find them very interesting but I find that the translation of the automatic subtitles does not work because KZbin understands that they are in Dutch instead of English and the translation goes crazy. It's a shame for me and I wish they could fix it. All the best

If you wind up a watch always in the morning, for example, it will behave like a automatic...too. Thats why manufacters advise to do this, so you never reach the critical curve..

How do you clean the mainsrping? What cleaning solution to use?

Usually benzine will do, most of the time we replace the mainspring.
