I have a much older anti syphon valve that looks like that and is spewing water out the same. I am not sure if I should try and fix or just replace.

Got $89 part for this from amazon as I had the same problem. But after putting all the parts as shown in video, the top does not press on the spring tightly. the spring goes freely in some half inch gap. Looks right assembly till locking the spring - not sure what I am doing wrong after that.

My Vent Float looks a bit different and has no rubber Vent Seal on it. It is just a white plastic part. The online diagrams show a separate Vent Seal and it does not look like the one in this video. The rubber Check Disc had an indention in it similar to a worn washer, so I just flipped it over for now. Have not tested it yet since I was wondering if my Vent Float is normal...maybe just an older version. I sure see no broken pieces of a Vent Seal inside.

My valve is leaking, seems to be the same problem described in the video. I tried to open the cap by hand, but no luck. Do you see any problem to use a groove pliers? Thanks

Using pliers with large enough jaws to encompass both sides of the bonnet should not present a problem although I would recommend trying to use two hands first.

You can order from Amazon. You may need to get the check repair kit & the vent repair kit separately as I did. You should take it apart and look at your original parts to make sure they match what you are ordering to be safe. Easy fix.

Water pressure should be adjusted at the water pressure reducing valve. With all downstream outlets closed, turn the adjusting screw clockwise to increase; counter-clockwise to decrease the pressure. A pressure gauge will be needed to know where your pressure is set at.
