Thankyou for your efforts and for sharing your process. You just convinced me that I can take mine apart and see what’s going on with it and potentially fix it! I so appreciate that you are contributing to the ‘fix it’ movement!

I’m glad you found it helpful and feel comfortable enough to take it apart and fix it yourself. I'm from the time of seeing how it works and fixing it yourself. Helped you learn along the way.

Just looked up a fixer for the exact same model, fixed mine as you were fixing yours, (not enough likes on this video) as I can say it now works 👍🏾😁. Thanks, your vid saved me a lot of bother

I wasn't even trying to fix mine. It's brand new and was missing the instructions. I was just trying to get an idea of how to use it. Thanks! Lol

Great video - thanks. I have one about the same size and it doesn't power on at all anymore. Do you have a video on this issue? It uses an 1.2 v rechargeable battery and looks like the thing won't charge anymore.
@MrSettin007 Жыл бұрын
How long have you had it? You will have to trace the wires and make sure there are no breaks in the connections. Let me know if you find anything.
@roberthanania3129 Жыл бұрын
Wires are all attached, so I thought maybe it might be on/off switch. Bent that a little but still nothing. Could be charging port but couldn't see anything there. Batteries are good. Will tinker with it in my spare time. Thanks RH. @@MrSettin007

I cleaned my blades, put them back on and now the machine is pushing air out and not sucking it in. Its clearly spinning the wrong way. Any suggestion??
@MrSettin007Ай бұрын
As long as you did not touch any wires, You may have installed your blades in backwards. Open it back up and flip them over. Thank you for sharing your issue. Let me know if my suggestion worked for you.
@MarissaMaraisАй бұрын
Correct - I did not touch any wires and I did not remove the blades, I just cleaned the dust off with an earbud. I think the actual motor is spinning the wrong way now.
@MrSettin007Ай бұрын
@@MarissaMarais that's interesting. Did you take the batteries out by chance? If so, you can check and make sure that you put them back in the right way and did not reverse the polarity, let me know if this changes anything.
@MarissaMaraisАй бұрын
Thanks so much for your continued replies. Ive taken the batteries out and tried them the opposite way around (basically going against the + and - guidance and the machine then just doesn’t turn on. So frustrating as it spins, just sadly the wrong way 🤦♀️

How do you know when the motor is not working, or how long does the motor last?
@MrSettin007 Жыл бұрын
It depends on a few factors. Whether you hear the motor making noise but you don't see the link being picked up into the trap. Or see the blades moving. You have to make sure the batteries are good, and then you may have to open the unit like I did in the video to see where the connection was broken. I hope this answer helps you. Let me know. 👍🏿

Hello, I need more information so I can help you. Can you see the blade moving when you turn it on? If it is moving. Use some string or a piece of the broom straw end and stick it through the holes and see if the blade cuts it or stops moving. Let me know. Thanks

@MrSettin007 Жыл бұрын
Make sure when you are placing the cover back on that the blades are set in properly. Make sure they are not touching or pressed against the screen to tight. If there is any friction or any part out of place or pushed to far out during reassembly. It will not work. Also make sure your batteries are fresh. Let me know how it goes.
