I have a 50PX80U that turns off after just a few minutes, sooner if warmer, longer if colder. It turns itself off and displays the 2 blink code which I looked up and found to mean 15V SOS with a check point of A board. Do you know of a test procedure so I can determine if this is a bad A board, a bad 15V power supply, or just a temperature sensor somewhere? None of the caps are swollen on any of the boards.

My plasma 50 had horizontal stripes missing on the screen, then a loud bang made it go black. I bought and switched bot boards that you mention. no change to the stripes, then suddenly the screen goes black again. IDK if there was some kind of bang this time. What could be wrong?

I have a Samsung PN50c550g1f , it had no pictures or sound & when I plugged it in a plastic relay would click about 4 or 5 times & tv would quit. I replaced the Y main board now the tv starts up you hear the sound it makes when you turn it on , but still no picture or sound, there is a little flicker at the bottom of the screen. What do you think about a picture that just flickers on 2009 Samsung 42" Plasma? Behaves as if a bad connection or cable. Does it to all inputs, tuner and menus. Picture quality and colors okay when picture is there. Totally intermittent flashing. Thanks for any help or suggestions you could provide.

We have no blinking green light on the logic board and the tv will not turn on. There is no clicking from the relay either. From the power board, we have ps on 3.65 volts and standby 5.13 volts. Any help?

How about a test for JUST the Y Main Board? My logic board light is blinking once every second indicating as it should. My Y buffer board is new, tested and working. My power supply is new, tested and working. My X buffer board is new, tested and working. My Y main is new but did not know how to test it to see if it was ok so I just had to trust that I was sent a good board. I still have no picture. So i need a test for JUST the Y main board to see if the new one is bad.

I have a question since my Panel has No Picture either, When turning the TV on, the panel sends out a rapid quick "flash" followed by some "snow" (picture noise/little white dots over the black background) and then the Panel completely turns off. It does the flashing followed by the snow around once every minute. The logic board blinks exactly as the one in the video (1 each second) So my guess is a bad Y buffer + Y Main, or would you call the Panel the faulty one? Thanks in advance

Samsung plasma ps43f4100 is dead.. there is no video n no audio. Only red led glow on fron panel but when i press power button nothing happens and red led goes off as well. . The thing i want to know that by glowing red LED mean should i think that my power supply bord is okay??????

Fausto had this same issue . Reflowed power supply board that had cold solder joints and it fired up not always will sound but no picture be Y BOARD. What’s hard about diagnosing plasmas is any small problem with a board can cause no oic

I have similar issue with my Samsung PN658000 TV. it was working fine for like 10 minutes then it just went dark. Now when I turn it on, sometimes I get the samsung smart tv logo but the screen stays dark and one time the picture came back on but I noticed a bit of flickering. But most of the time the tv turn on with a black screen. Could it be the buffer boards?

Sir, i am from India. i have a samsung plasma model PS43F4100. This model have audio but no video. Company has closed giving support for this model. So i want to fix it by myself so i need your help I want to give some clue abot the problem of this tv 1. Stnd by led glows when main switch on. But i have to press stb button from remote to release stand by 2. Red led glow 3 tmes after few sec. It blink again 3 times. It repeat many time then tv turns on 3. I open tv back cover and checked and found that there is 12 volts on VA AND VS test point when tv was on. But there is no va and vs volt when tv was stb mode. Ps on and Stb 5v was there on stb mode but all volts was there except ps on when tv was on 4. Other side Led on the logic board was not blinking even when i disconnected y main and y buffer board. I am texting you hoping that you must help me please help me

I'm having a similar problem however my TV cuts off on its own after about a minute or so and when I turn it back on with only sound but no picture. It has picture and sound then cuts off automatically and when I turn it back on no picture just sound. I unplug it from the wall and wait for about 30 minutes before I can try for a picture again. TV is a Samsung Plasma model # PN59D530A3F

All this guys videos are missing the most important part, diagnoses. You are not helping people find the problem, just what you did to fix your tv. I've been working on electronics for 25 years and there nothing wrong with replacing parts on the boards that are bad, if you have the knowledge. The boards can get rather expensive if your just guessing and replacing them to fix the tv. Try show people how to find the problem so they don't start buying random boards.
