I run a repair shop and watch your videos and learn alot from this channel. Yesterday a Growatt solar inverter model: (SPF 5000TL HVM-WPV) came into my shop by customer and it has some wierd fault when the AC is plugged in and the AC charging current is greater than 20Amp the inverter goes into error 08. Remember this happens when PV is not present. I have upgraded the firmware using ISP tool but the problem still persist. I will be very thankful to you if you guide me?

Hi, Thank you vry much for your videos. I have two MKS II 5KW-B. Both of them are not working. In one of them I got error 53 with battery source and no DC out. I found D20, and ZD3 short. I think i need to replace TrX7 as well. Any other componet that is worth to check or to replace in this case ? I do not know where to buy and what to buy for trx7 replacement. Can you suggest what and were to order. Alternately can I send you the two inverter for repair ? whoat would be the typica repair cost for this kind of problem ? Many thanks Regards

Hi, i´m trying to repair an inverter icb 5k-48 . the inverter no detect 220VAc input and no detect pv input. It is posible the same problem? do you have a diagram of the control board? thanks

Thanks for the presentation, I like it. But I want to ask, this type of inverter when turned on injects AC voltage to the PV input line. and when you touch the panel gives an electric shock, the shock goes away when the inverter is turned off. you will notice this while the inverter is on that the PV +ve to ground reads some AC voltage, and the PV -ve to the ground also reads some AC voltage. however, between the +ve and -ve reads no AC voltage except for DC only. one can believe this is a common-mode voltage injected from the inverter to the PV output. Please can you advise on how to correct it?

Please guide me about 1 issue I am facing that "one 3kva inverter came to me for repair, when we connect its output to load on bulb, its running but when connect on fan load, fan stopped and creates noise on fan". What could be reason, as 2 opto couplers are not getting ON. IGBTs are not short as well.

Greetings to all. I have a slightly off topic question but I have not found any other better discussion to get a sensible answer. I have an SMG-II-5.6KW inverter (I think hardware voltronic) and I have built a control unit and I read the parameters from the inverter but to optimize the battery discharge at high currents I have to write an inverter parameter on average 2 - 5 times a day. I wanted to know if anyone knows which memory chips use these inverters to save the parameters. I would not like to degrade this chip with excessive scriptures. I have not opened my inverter to not lock the warranty since it has seals on the screws.

All of these Chinese made, high frequency, transformerless inverters are junk. If you want an inverter that's going to last more than a year, you need to buy a low frequency, transformer based inverter.
