I've had this same issue, and im guessing the screw hole for the TOP Gear ( biggest gear on the helli that spins the shaft) might be cracked. OR the end of the screw broke causing the rotters to not spin. You'll need to order a Gear set for the Screw for the shaft.

I barely flew my 9053 and it started to bend the balance bars. I checked and sure enough my shaft wasn't as tight as it should be. I removed it and found it to be solid. The problem I'm having is it loosens up on the gear no matter how tight you make it. it will fly if you tighten it, but you have to tighten it each and every time. I'm hoping to find a good solution for this.

@4624tone the small pin for the balancer is a must other wise the balancer will shake when spinning, i lost it too. then i replace it with small nail that fit the hole and it works. with the blinking problem is beyond my knowledge, sorry my friend.

@4624tone i think the heli wont lift because there are no enough power in blade to spin, one thing that cause it is explain in this video. may be there are still more reason why there are no enough power in blade to spin. i havent experience other problem yet so far.

hi just got a perly avant courier. looks a lot like your on the inside. Just pulled in out of the box and my husband went right to town flying it... saw in the book that it needed to be "smoothed" first whice he didnt do. He crashed it (only fell about 3 feet) and now the top "a" blade wont turn at all... do you think i need a new motor already or could it be something else. Everything looks intact. Wires are attached, and pin coming out of the motor isnt bent. please help me if you can.

Hi, I liked your video although the nail could be trimmed to make the finish look nicer. Anyway, I'm hoping that you have a fix for my double horse 9115 that won't turn right? Simply put I can hear and see the change in both motors rotations when I turn left, but nothing happens when I turn right. Can you help? Cheers G

This is a great idea! I was just in the process when I misplaced my screw for the Gear A socket. Any idea where I can get a spare screw for that socket? Also, would you happen to know what size the screw for the socket in Gear A is? Thanks, I would really appreciate any input on this.

I guess if you don't have the $3 to $4 (including shipping) to buy a new inner shaft you could do this. The sharp nail is good too, just in case you accidentally hit someone, you can be sure to slice a vital artery.

Hello, thanks for the video. I have a problem with my RC Helicopter. I left it for a couple of months with being used, then i tried to charge it but i used a false charger. The battery is Li ion 18500 1100 mAh 3,7v, the charger already i had with the helicopter was 4,3v and 800 mA, but i used instead 4,8v with 200 mA the helicopter did not start since that and iam not sure what happens! Is the problem in the battery itself so i simple buy one ? or it is in the helicopter itself? thanks

@sshahla Yes you right, the gear and the shaft is joined with a little screw. So make sure to thighten all screw after several flying, to make sure you don't lose any screw. Try to find at hobby shop.

I just received this today for Christmas and after a couple of flights I had a nasty crash where the balance bar punctured the Head Cover. Now the helicopter blades do not spin at all....any suggestions as to what may have broke? The helicopter still powers on it just seems unresponsive now.

@ptt1404 My balancer also bent several times, but after making it straight it fly again, a little shackky buy tolerable. I think there is something wrong with the shaft, check if there is something lose around the shaft from top to bottom.

@TheDoc12345 doesn't matter. make sure don't overcharge the battery. i usually disconnected the black and red wire while not using the heli to preserve the battery power.

I used a craft knife to cut the balance bar off around the pin, use little 'v' cuts. My pin would not come out any other way. The one in the video has been previously removed I guess.

I have similar problem to this, but I tried everything I saw in all videos on KZbin and didn't work for me, I'm so desperate. I replaced top and rotor blades with new one, check for loosen shaft top and bottom, check antenna and batteries on heli and remote (on remote batteries replaced). Responses to remote controlling very well, but in all my effort I didn't success to trim it and keep it from spinning to left. All the gears and motor and blades and shafts are OK visually inspected.

hello ive got a bad problem with my TRX 3.3 perly its all fine but it wont get enogh lift it gets leg high and sits there and starts to go down on FULL POWER!!! its fully charged but could a wobbly sharft in the engine do that?

I would think this repair would have been much easier by simply drilling a small hole straight through the plastic and the shaft then inserting a small nail and wiring it. What do you think?

@SeaBreezeCenter Hi, as far as today, there is no problem at all with my helicopter. As you can see in the video, I use a very tiny nail which is very light compared to the overall weight of the toy. My toy fly very well and there is no problem at all. True there is a little shaking effect, but it is the nature of the toy itself. Even a brand new one, since the blade is quite large and spin heavily.

I have the exact RC Helicopter, and after a crash I broke 3 blades and the balancer. I replaced them and now the motors attempt to start but the rotors won't move. This happened even before I replaced the broken blades. When it crashed the throttle was on for a couple of seconds while the helicopter was on the ground. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE HELP.

I got a helicopter for christmas and its now broken from the first use, the bottom gear that moves the top blades is really loose, the top blades fly off,ive tightened the screw as much as i can yet the gear just loosens and falls and the top blades fly off, please reply asap. thankyou :)

@hem1712 Hmm, try to tighten all the screw. Then hold the main blade with your hand, and check if the heli in the balance position. Sometime because of the crash, the battery was moved. You should reposition the battery until it balanced. Small vibration is normal I think.

@BrianArtea yes there are only 3 spot you must loose. 1 screw, and 2 other (without screw) --> quite hard for the first time, just pull it with hand.

Another way to fix this problem and without take apart anything is drill a very tiny hole with a dremel very carefully on the center trough plastic and metal shaft and put a very little screw or the nail you show and keep it on place with a little drop of crazy glue. You need to do this in the CENTER of the shaft, in this way you not reduce the strength of the materials, because that is what you do...

@jomalova Hey man, I had the same problem on my 9101 (same procedure). I just took a small hex bit (very small) and pushed as HARD as I could through the end. The pin pops right out. I would remove the top part of the shaft before doing this as to not damage anything else.

@cuevas714 Okay, but I must wait until my canopy broken :) Here is how to open the canopy: There are 3 screw you must open, left, right (near the top blade), and bottom. Once you open all the screw, pull the canopy to front. That is it and done.
