I can not remember for sure but I think lack of power was the problem. I scanned it with like a $50 or $60 scanner and it gave me a code. I think the Bosch part was about $80 and I went ahead and got it because I read lots of bad reviews on the after market fuel rail sensor.

Got P0163 codes but I think my wiring is incorrect. Read pin 2 is reference voltage? My pin 4 is ground. What are the readings at the connector with Key On only? Pins 1,2, and 3 please help thank you

Pull the fuse then start car . Let run until it stalls.

I bought the after market one and it was still leaking why is that? Lost the original screws to it where could I find them at?

Not sure why it would leak, mine never did it just stopped working. Maybe try a ford parts website to look up the screws or grab them at a salvage yard?

How long do you have to wait for engine to cool down before switching it?

The part is not very hot, you just want to be careful you dont start a fire. I would open hood and wait at least half hour, then stuff some rags around it.

how do you know it is the fuel pressure sensor? Mine is in shop now and they can't find the problem

Mine was actually still running okay, but I was getting a check engine light that showed a code for a bad fuel pressure sensor I changed it clear the code and it never came back. What is going on with your car? Maybe I can give you some advice

Some lights do after a few drive cycles, otherwise you can remove battery cable for a while and that might clear it.

hello im hoping if you can help me out. i have a fault code p0183 fuel temp sensor "A circuit high input". i just cant seem to find this sensor my car is having a couple problems and im guessing this sensor is causing it. im thinking it should be along the fuel rail. same 4.0 engine

I will need to do some research and get back to you. I suspect air intake sensor or ambient air temp sensor may be failing.

I just had the same issue and replaced the sensor on the fuel rail thanks to this video you made. Now my car is running rough no power ,idles bad and i just got a new code right after p2198.. i can smell gas when i strat the car too.. not sure what happen any suggestions?

I actually worked on the line at Flat Rock I'm Waco 5 to early 06. But I can honestly say I had nothing to do with mixing metal LOL all I did was put Hood latches on and a little bit of instrument panel assembly
